Required Access Permissions:
- Location access permission: This permission is necessary to record running data using GPS and for location services in the background.
- Access permission for Apple Music, your music and video activity, and media library: This permission is required to listen to music from Apple Music and your personal library while running.
- Notification access permission: This permission allows RunDay to send motivational push messages to your friends while running.
- Camera access permission: This permission allows you to share your running information on social media or use it as a profile photo by taking pictures.
- Gallery access permission: This permission allows you to share your running information on social media or use it as a profile photo by accessing your gallery.
- Microphone access permission: This permission is required to record voice messages.
- Voice Recognition access permission: This permission is necessary for voice messaging and slang recognition.
- Physical activity access permission: This permission is required to track step counts and monitor movement awareness.
- Apple Health access permission: This permission allows RunDay to use HealthKit for exercise tracking.
In order to use the RunDay service, certain information must be provided during registration:
- RunDay account creation: email address, password
- Community Use: nickname
- Challenge mode and marathon use: nickname, date of birth, gender
You can reset or revoke access permissions by going to Settings > RunDay > Select agree or withdraw for access permissions.
